The county board of commissioners meets the first three Tuesdays of the month. Dassel is in the third district, Kingston is in the fourth district, and Darwin is located in the second district.

Ellsworth Township meets 8 p.m. the third Thursday of every month at the Ellsworth Township Hall located along Meeker County Road 9, Darwin. This is also where township members vote. Collinwood Township
Collinwood Township meets 7 p.m. the third Monday of every month March through October at the town hall located at 21904 746th Ave., Dassel. During the winter months, November through February, the board meets at the homes of officers. Call the clerk for the location. There is no township phone.
